Oh Christmas Tree...........

We have had this tree for 5 years and we bought it for $29.00 and it is still going strong. I have had the blue decorations since before Taylor and I were married and each year we add a little to it. This year I decided to spice it up a little and add some color. Added a little purple, pink, and green to it. It makes the tree pop out a little more. I bought the new decorations at the dollar store too, and they came in packs of 6, or packs of 10. So I think I spent maybe 7 bucks this year on the tree. Looks better for sure and it will work until we can afford a new tree and new decorations.

Sleepy Baby

Tayson hasn't been sleeping very well lately and finds himself so exhausted that he crashes on the floor and sneaks in a nap when he can. It usually only lasts about 10 minutes before one of the girls tickles him, picks his nose, or jumps on him. So peaceful and sweet when they sleep, that's when I just wanna pick them up and snuggle.

The Pledge of Allegiance and Whistling

I love all the new things Kamryn is learning. She is so smart. She has been writing her name for at least 5 months now but it was all in capital letters. Her preschool recently wanted all the students to learn to write their name in lower case letters with the first letter in a capital of course. They had 1 week to learn this and if they did it they were able to pick a "TREASURE". SHE PASSED THE TEST WITH FLYING COLORS, WOOT WOOT! She knows how to write every letter, recognizes every letter and knows the sound to each letter (she has known this for a long time now). It's fun to watch her learn and grow. Our next goal for her at home is to learn to write her last name. She also just taught herself to WHISTLE. No help from us, she just wanted to be a "big kid" she said and "whistle like big kids", so she did it and now she WON'T STOP. She also says her Pledge of Allegiance. She can't say "republic" so you will notice in the video that she says "and to the huc". FUNNY!

Kamryn says: "Mom, I am just having a busy day".

Me: "Well, why are you so busy Kamryn".

Kamryn: "Well it's because you make me take a nap and then I don't have time to play".

Me: "You're a goof ball Kam, nice try, you still have to take a nap".

Pretty Princess's

The girls got invited to a Princess Birthday Party and were requested to dress in Princess attire. They couldn't have been more excited and came home so pleased. They are growing up on me.

Goooooo Yankees!

We have been enjoying the World Series with the Yankee's and the Phillie's this season. It's been fun watching them, but I love watching these two boys even more. I am sure they will have many bonding moments over the Yankee's. I think these two look so good in there Yankee's gear!

TrIcK-oR-tReAt

WOW! This week has been eventful and super busy. Monday we painted and carved pumpkins, Tuesday we had the ward Halloween Party, Wednesday the girls had a Halloween party for their dance class, Friday Kamryn had a Halloween party for preschool, and Saturday was TrIcK-oR-TrEaTiNg night. This first picture is of the girls at dance class.

The cutest ZeBrA I have ever seen...........Tayson.

Tayson chased the girls around after they got their faces painted cause he LOVED the way they looked. He smiled so big when he saw their faces. He wanted to sit in the chair and get his face painted, and so we did so but he did not like his whole face painted. Long story short his face got painted 3 times and all we got out of it was a cute button nose. I was so excited to put stripes on his face, but he wasn't not going for that at all.

Trick-or-Treating was SoOoOoOoOo much fun this year. This is the first year that we really have been able to go. We have always had a party to attend to so the real Trick-or-Treating never happened........until this year. I LOVED IT! Brynlee would ring the doorbell and say "Trick-or-Treating" and wait for some candy. Tayson really got into it and I was a little surprised. He wanted to hold his bucket, pick his own candy, and walk to the door. He would even say "he ho heeee (trick or treat)". Kamryn was bouncing all over the place and having a blast. They had been waiting for this day all week and it couldn't have gone better.

Digging for all the goodies. They got some really good stuff. Popcorn, bags of chips, fruit snacks, crayons, rings, cute handmade bags stuffed with candy, and much more. I was of course more than happy to dig for all the yummy gooey chocolate candies and stash them in a cupboard for myself for a little later. Mmmmmmm.......can't wait till next year.

Pumpkin Painting and Carving

What an eventful night......painting, carving, and we even got to make a Mr. potato head (pumpkin style of course). Kids LOVED it and LOVED painting themselves as well! Yay for Halloween!

Future Artist

These are a few piece's of Kamryn's artwork. She is quite the little artist and LOVES to draw all the time. She draws something new every week WITHOUT anybody's help. She is so creative! Mind you she is only 4 years old, maybe it's not that great but I think she does a GREAT job! She is writing her name down all by herself, can write a few numbers, writes every letter in the alphabet, and much much more. Her newest drawing is a bike and it is pretty dang good, unfortunately I didn't save that one (not on purpose). My personal favorite of these 6 pictures is the Kitty Cat, I LOVE the legs on the kitty......so funny! I started teaching her to draw smiley faces shortly after she turned 3 and it has progressed to much much more. So proud of my little munchkin!
