Time flies

The other night Tayson was crying and Taylor couldn't get him to relax, so he went in the girls room to hang out and Kamryn wanted to hold him. And to our surprise, she totally put him to sleep. No joke! He layed by her and fell right asleep. It was so cute!

I can't believe how fast time flies. My little guy is already a week and a half old and it makes me so sad. He is still so new but I am sad that a week and a half has already gone. He is getting to be a little chub! I love it!

My mom left this morning and so last night we decided to take some family pictures before she left. We are really happy with the way that they turned out! Thanks mom, we love them!

First set of professional pictures

My mom has been here for a week and we decided to take some pictures of Tayson. My mom has a really nice camera and we like to mess around with it and try to get some good pictures. I am super happy with his pictures! We tried to do Brynlee's when she was a baby but they didn't turn out as cute. I really, really like his pictures and I am having a hard time picking out a picture to use for his birth announcement.

Since my mom has been here she has been making all of us some cute stuff. She made Kamryn this cute tu tu for dance, and she loves to wear it around the house. It is so fluffy and cute on her and she feels like a princes in it. Kamryn has really enjoyed having a baby around the house. She is wanting to hold him, and kiss him and bug the heck out of the poor little guy.
Brynlee is also very interested in the baby and LOVES to kiss him and hug him.
Daddies little guy! Taylor is so excited to have a boy around the house.
Kamryn loves to help me out with all the fun stuff that comes with having a baby. She liked helping out with bath time.
He has so much dark hair and when it's wet it curls a little bit. It's so cute!
This is the first picture we have gotten with his eyes open. He is always sleeping so we don't get to see him with his eyes open very often and we just happened to catch a picture of it.

Baby is here

WARNING.........I am totally aloud to look like crap considering I am having a baby. So beware! Here is my belly the day I had Tayson. I felt alot bigger than I looked.
We went into the hospital at 6:00 a.m. in the morning and it was off to a rough start for me. They couldn't get the I.V. into my veins and after 3 tries they finally had to put warm packs on my arm to get the blood flowing again. I thought I looked pretty funny with these packs on my arm. Finally after the 4th try they got the I.V. in and things got rolling.
The girls came to visit me and they were pretty excited to meet baby brother. Unfortunately he wasn't ready to come and play. But they enjoyed being by mom.
At about 1:45 p.m. the nurse checked to see how far dialated I was and I was at a 5. Things were moving at a medium pace so Taylor decided to go get something to eat. At 2:20 p.m. the nurse was getting a little worried because the babies heart rate had been dropping and getting worse with every contraction. The chord was wrapped around his neck and they were worried it was getting to tight. So she checked again to see what progress had been made, and I happened to be at a 9 and the head was starting to come out. I was SHOCKED that I had made that much progress in a half hour. I was nervous too cause Taylor wasn't back from getting lunch yet. Luckily he got back in time and decided to take one last picture before Tayson arrived.

Grandma Reitano and Kamryn with Tayson. My mom came up to watch the girls for me while I was in the hospital and they came over as soon as they could to see the baby. She had all the girls in matching clothes and they looked so cute! She even got Brynlee's hair into pigtails and she looked soooo cute! For those of you who don't know who that little brunette is, it happens to be my little sister who is Kamryn's age.

First bath. His mouth is always wide open and his bottom lip sinks in. It's so funny!
He has alot of dark hair. He should share some with Brynlee since she doesn't have any. I think that he has a birthmark on the back of his head too. That little round spot looks like a birthmark to me.
Look at that pouty lip. His bottom lip always sinks into his mouth. We can't quite figure out who he looks like.
And we finally get to go home! Yay! He looks so tiny in his carseat. Kamryn was 6 lbs. 9 oz. and Brynlee was 6 lbs. 11 oz. so I was SHOCKED to hear that Tayson was 8 lbs. 3 oz. I felt so big and uncomfortable this pregnancy, but I never would have guessed that he was that big. I am pretty happy that he is big and I hope that I finally get a chubby baby. My girls were so little and I have always wanted a chubby baby. Maybe I will get my wish this time. I feel really good and I am happy to be able to move and bend and feel normal again. But the best part of it all is being able to hold my new baby and to hold my girls again. I missed being able to pick my girls up and hold them, read stories, play on the ground etc... Both me and the baby are doing good and we will post some more pictures later.
