May was an extraordinary month. The weather was phenominal, and the month was full of activities and friends. I was sad to see the month pass.
Ryker smiles a ton and the girls can't get enough of his sweetness.
My kids sleep in the weirdest positions and in the weirdest places. Taylor and I were watching t.v. one night and I got up to check on the kids and just about kicked Kamryn in the head. I am not used to having someone block the hallway.
Here is Brynlee and all her flexibility glory.
Kamryn's preschool had a Mommy's and Muffins Tea Party for Mother's Day. We had fun sitting together and eating muffins at her preschool.
Some days I just wanna pull my hair out, but most days I feel so happy, lucky, and blessed to have these kids in my life. Since it was Mother's Day I thought it was fitting that the kids and I coordinated outfits for church. I made the girls dresses and Ryker's onesie (it's hard to see but I cut out a tie and sewed it on). Sew domestic right? hehe Love being a mom!!!
Kamryn lost her 2nd tooth. Taylor yanked and pulled it quite a few times, and it kept slipping. Third time was a charm. I most definitely have a harder time with pulling teeth than Taylor does. He gets so excited and I just cringe.
We bought this picnic table unfinished at Lowe's and I was excited to stain it and make it my own. Turned out pretty good. We have enjoyed having this table and use it quite often. On this particular day I had a tea party with the kids.
This is how dramatic Brynlee is when it comes to singing songs in the car. WOW! I should bring ear plugs more often.
The girls had their dance recital. They both did great.
After my dance recitals as a kid my parents always took me to get ice cream afterwards and I loved it. So I have decided that is what we are going to do with our girls. They of course love it too.
Kamryn and Brynlee with their friends Andie and Brooklyn.
I just had to put this picture of Ryker on here to show how much he has grown.
Sweet Smiles.
Ryker has grown to big for the sink so we have migrated over to the bath tub. He LOVES it! He kicks and splashes like nobody's business.
Kamryn graduated preschool. She was very happy and sad at the same time. She is so excited for Kindergarten but sad to not see her friends at preschool anymore. She did fabulous in school and is even reading on a 1st grade level.
Ryker has found his hands and loves to chomp on them all day.
More sweet smiles.
Tayson's latest obsession is his fireman hat and his fireman boots. He wears them all the time and even falls asleep with them.
We took the kids to Sunset in the Park and watched Despicable Me. They had a blast staying up till midnight.
Ryker enjoyed the fresh air and laying on the cool grass.
For Memorial Day we took the kids to the Red Hills. We ate lunch, went on a hike, and swam in the falls. Perfect day!
Grandma and Grandpa (or dama and dampa as Tayson says) sitting back holding Ryker and watching Taylor and the kids FREEZE in the water.
I wasn't about to jump in the freezing water so Taylor took one for the team and jumped in.
Kamryn and daddy sliding down the falls.
Our little/big family after swimming and hiking.
Grandma and Grandpa and the kids.
We had our annual Law School ("Marmot") reunion. This year the reunion was held in St. George. Lucky for us! We had a BLAST and can't wait until next year.
The boys had to show off their diving skills and I happened to catch Taylor's dive midway through.....he looks so funny.
The women did what they do best.......eating and shopping of course.
Game night.
The girls went to Zumba and got their sweat on.
Then went and got some much needed pedicures after a hard Zumba workout.
The boys also did what they do best........Golfing of course.
On the last night we all got dressed up and went to a nice dinner and just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company.
The weekend went by too fast and we are already missing everyone. We are lucky to have such great friends and examples in our life.
Kamryn, Brynlee, and Tayson were lucky to get to see their best friends Teagan and Pierson one time after the reunion. They sure do miss living next door to these kids in Spokane.
Happy May! Let's bring on June.....
