"Look at me"

My funnly little Brynlee never fails to crack me up! She is off the wall, bouncing, jumping, screaming, kicking, climbing and doing anything she can to drive me crazy and just about cause me to have a major meltdown. And then suddenly I am on the floor cracking up at all the funny things she does. After dinner the other night she tried to take off her bib and it got stuck on her pigtails and thought it was pretty funny. She had to make sure that Taylor and I saw what she had done. So right in the middle of my meal I hear this cute little voice saying "Look at me, Look at me". It was hillarious! She was all smiles and thought she was so funny. Gosh, I love my kids! Being a mom is the best (and the worst sometimes too)!

He finally gave in.....well sort of!

It's official.......Taylor has new shoes. He has had them for about a week now, and he wears them all the time so that must be a good thing. Taylor wasn't giving in and so I finally bought him some new shoes online at 6pm.com (thanks Brooke, loved the website) without him knowing I did so. But I think he is happy and so am I. I know, it's kind of a lame post, but Taylor's beat up shoes were killing me and so I am glad he has new ones. You should all check out the website it has all kinds of shoes at a major discount. These shoes are originally 60 bucks and we got them for 30. I think we are gonna get him a second pair because they are so cheap. Can't beat 2 for the price of 1 can ya?

Yummy Holiday Drink Recipe

Since so many of you have shared recipe's on your blog, I thought I would do the same. My ward had their Super Saturday today and they served us this yummy Cider.

Orange Holiday Cider
2 Cups Tang Orange Drink Mix
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Country Time Lemonade mix
2 Tsp. Cinnamon
2 Tsp. Ground Cloves
Add 2 Tsp. Mix to 1 Cup hot water.

Monday Play Group at River Front Park

Every Monday we have playgroup for both the mom's and the kiddo's. Today we went to River Front Square and fed the ducks, slid down the slide, went shopping at the mall (just to name a few). I am so blessed and so grateful to have such great friends up here for both me and the kids. I would be so miserable up here without all our friends. We are always getting together and having a good time.

The leaves are so pretty right now and this tree so far has been my favorite this year. It looked so pretty to me, it almost looked like fireworks in the tree.
Tayson just hung out in the stroller and smiled for us. What a cutie!

Brynlee joined Bailey, Bostyn, and Teage in their stroller. I guess we aren't cool enough for her (ha ha).

Brynlee's little buddy Teage was there and of course they had a blast together. They are so cute together!

Kamryn likes to call this clock "The Cinderella Clock". It sits right in the middle of the park and every hour the bell strikes letting you know what time it is. It happened to be dinging and Kamryn called it "The Cinderella Clock".

Rolling over???

Since the day Tayson was born he has arched his back so much that it is hard to hold him. He always has his head and back arched no matter what he is doing. I will lay him on the floor to watch a little t.v. with the girls and he arches his head and back the opposite way of the t.v. But lately he has been arching a little more than usual. He has rolled over a few times but I don't think it was intentional. I can definitely see that he is working on it and tries to roll over. He will get all the way onto his side but then roll back onto his back. He's getting closer though. The first few pictures are of him just chillin' with his back arched and the last picture is of him trying to roll over. I love watching my kids grow up and seeing each new stage they get to. Tayson is so fun right now. He loves to smile and giggle and he especially loves to coo and talk to us. I LOVE IT!

My little Hairstylists

I caught the girls brushing each others hair after their bath the other night. They even pulled the kiddie stool out of the bathroom so they would have a seat to sit on. They are so funny!

Family outing

We were on a drive the other night and stopped to let the girls see some horses. They were the friendliest horses and they were all flocking around us to get some attention. They were so pretty!

My what pretty teeth you have! We had a friendly Llama come see us too. Llama's are funny looking to say the least!

The beautiful colors of Fall

We went out the other night and looked at the Fall leaves. The leaves are slowly turning here and it is so pretty. As we were out driving we happened to see quite a few deer. When I say quite a few, I mean like 30 of them. They were so calm and just stood there as we took pictures. They never once tried to run away. They were gorgeous! We were probably only a few feet away from the deer as we were taking pictures of them. It was so neat to be so close to them, I have never been that close to one before and I can't believe how pretty they are. Dad you missed out, you would have loved it!

Sunday best

The kids looked so cute for church in their green outfits, so I had to take a picture. The picture didn't turn out so good but they still looked cute.

I got you dad!

Tayson grabs everything and I guess Taylor's nose was big enough for Tayson to grab. He had a good grip on him and wouldn't let go. As soon as you get close to his face to talk, smile, or kiss him he grabs your face.

I wanted a chubby little baby and this is exactly what I got! I love chubby babies but I didn't realize that chubby babies can brake your bank account. I swear I am always buying new clothes for Tayson to wear. I boxed up his 3-6 month summer clothes about a week ago, but should have done it way before that. I started stocking up winter clothes for him and thought I was gonna be safe to buy 6-9 month outfits.....boy was I wrong! I waited to long to put him in his 6-9 month outfits and so now they fit him almost way to perfect. Shoot! His 3-6 month clothes were way snug, but I wanted to hold off till the colder weather came for his 6-9 month clothes. Luckily the weather here is a little chilly right now so the winter clothes work for now, but I am sure I will be buying bigger clothes soon. I had him weighed today and he weighed 17 lbs. 4 oz. and he is only 3/2 months old. My poor back is never gonna be the same after this little man. Carrying him in the carseat is a killer. Oh, and his carseat is already almost to small for him. I struggle when I buckle him up. I have extended the straps as far as they can go and I still have a heck of a time getting him in. I am sure you are all sick of hearing me talk about how huge he is, but this is the first time I have had a chubby baby so it surprises me to see how big he is. The girls were so little and they were able to wear their clothes for a way long time. So this is all new to me. Here are a few of my favorite outfits.
