Easter egg hunt with the North fam

Kamryn wasn't very interested in getting the eggs off of the ground. She wanted to get all the eggs that were hidden above the ground.

Brynlee always has these cute little puckered lips. She reminds me of a duck. I love her little ducky lips.

As soon as Brynlee would get an egg she would sit down and open it to see what was inside. She is so smart and I didn't think she would be able to get the eggs open.

All the cute North Grandbabies. I am surprised that I was able to catch a picture of all of them looking up and smiling. That doesn't happen very often.

Boma North gave the girls these cute wands. Both Kamryn and Brynlee loved it.

Easter egg hunt and Family pics with the Reitano fam

My mom had an easter egg hunt for the kids and it was so fun to watch them run around and look for the eggs. Kamryn had a ton of fun and she absolutely loves quarters and it just so happened that she got quite a few quarters in her eggs. My mom likes to do money inside of the eggs rather than candy and between the two girls they rounded up $20.00. We also tried to do family pictures that day with my family, and of course the wind decided to pick up just as we were taking pictures, so they didn't turn out the best. Plus the girls just wanted to play on the playground and not smile for pictures. Oh well. Thanks mom and dad for a fun easter egg hunt.

The long drive home

Brynlee got a little hungry on the drive back to Spokane, and decided to eat her toes for dinner. Mmmm...Yummy!

Kamryn thought that it was pretty funny that Brynlee was eating her toes and so she gave it a try. She's not quite as flexible and wasn't able to get her toes to her mouth though.

Taylor has a nasty habit of having to spit out the window when he drives, and every time he opened the window Kamryn would laugh like crazy. Every time he opened the window she said "Ooo dat's cold dad."

Daddy's hat and Plumbers crack

Brynlee loves her dad's hat. She is constantly pulling it off of his head and putting it on her head. We happened to catch her putting on Taylor's hat the other day then she stood up and started to walk around the house with it on. The funny part about it was that she covered her face so that she couldn't see where she was going. We tried to get a video of her doing it but of course by the time we were ready to tape her she was done playing with the hat. Oh well.

Brynlee unfortunately got her mothers genes. NO BUTT! My side of the family is known for having the flat butt. And sadly I think Brynlee is going to get it as well. Her little diaper won't stay on her little bum and because her diaper won't stay on, her pants fall off as well. She has got this cute little buddha belly, small bum, and chicken legs. Poor girl. It doesn't matter if she is walking, sitting, or laying down, you can always see her little plumbers crack.

1 year old pictures

I finally went and got Brynlee's one year old pictures taken and I am so pleased with them. I had the hardest time picking which pictures to get. I also have been trying for a year to get a good picture of the two girls together. After multiple times of getting pictures taken, I finally have a good picture of the two of them together (other than Kamryn's hair in her face). Yay! I know every mom thinks their girls are cute, but I especially think that mine are absolutely adorable. I love my babies!

First haircut

Yes, I know Brynlee is still bald and probably didn't need a haircut.....but the back of her hair grows faster than the top and she was getting a mullet. I would rather have a bald headed baby then have a baby with a mullet. So I just cut enough off of the back so that she didn't have a mullet anymore. When I would put a headband on her head, her hair would stick straight out. It looked so goofy, so I had to give in and cut a little off.

Got milk?

Taylor gave Brynlee some milk in a sippy cup but had to turn away from her to get Kamryn a treat. When he turned back around he found Brynlee in a puddle of milk. He didn't put the lid on right and so as she was taking a drink it started to come out from underneath the lid. She was a little sad that there wasn't any left for her to drink. The poor girl was soaked from head to toe.

Chinese baby

Taylor thought that he was being so funny the other day. He pulled Brynlee's eyes back to make her look chinese. He was laughing pretty hard and he made me take some pictures of her.

Brynlee had a birthday

Brynlee had her 1st Birthday on friday and we celebrated with some friends and with my parents. We had a great time and we want to thank all of those who came to our house to support Brynlee on her birthday. We have such great friends out here and we appreciated the company. My parents decided to surprise us and come for Brynlee's birthday. They left on valentine's day (in the late afternoon), and they arrived to our house Friday morning at 5:00 a.m. We were so glad to have them come and we had such a good time with them. They could only stay for a few days, so it was a short trip and we wish they could have stayed longer. Since we have moved up to Spokane I haven't pulled out my scrapbooking stuff. I have gotten so behind on Brynlee's book, and so my mom made Brynlee a big scrapbook for her birthday. I will have to take some pictures for you to see how much work she went to and to see how cute it is. I LOVE IT! Brynlee is into babies lately and so Taylor and I decided to get her a baby for her birthday. She loves the baby! She holds it and kisses it and even pats it on the back. It is so cute. As you can see in the pictures below, she really loves babies. She even went to bed with the baby. She also got another baby from Uncle Mitch and Aunt Linda and she loves to play with that baby as well. The baby that they gave her opens and closes her eyes and so Brynlee loves to pull them open and shut.

My parents had to leave today and we are so sad, the house is too quiet now. But we will see them in a few weeks when we come home for spring break. Thanks for everything mom and dad and we hope you had a good time.

A look back

Happy Valentine's Day!

Kamryn made some Valentine's the other day! She had a blast cutting the paper, but I fear that she is gonna think that it is ok to use scissors all the time now. I will just have to keep an eye on her and make sure that I hide all scissors from her, cause she liked cutting paper way to much!

This morning I put the girls valentine's presents on the couch for them, and they loved it. They were both so excited to have their own heart shaped balloon! Brynlee has been walking around the house with her balloon all day. She can't let go of it. I gave them some candy and a stuffed animal, Boma and Bompa gave them candy, a book, and a princess box with princess chocolate in it. I am surprised at how much Kamryn understands what Valentine's are. I put all the candy in a candy jar and she is constantly walking up to it and asking for her balenstine (valentine) candy. She even told me Happy Balenstine's Day. We also got a lot of mail today full of Valentine's for all of us and Birthday cards for Taylor and Brynlee. And I was surprised that Kamryn knew what a valentine card was. She got a valentine from Boma Hafen today and she looked at me and said "It's a balenstine mom". This valentine's day was fun with the girls and especially because Kamryn understood so much. Taylor gave me a serving set for valentine's day. He did a great job picking it out and I really like it a lot. He said he got it for me because we have a lot of parties at our house and we have nothing to serve with. I thought it was cute of him to think of something like that for me. Anywho...Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

Just wanted to wish my husband a Happy Birthday! We love you and we hope you have a GREAT birthday!

Game time with dad

Kamryn likes to sit down with dad and pretend to play the Play Station. Taylor usually plays the game and just gives her an extra controller so that she can pretend to play.

Kamryn's all time favorite game to play on the Play Station is Gutar Hero. I know she looks a little funny in these pictures, but I happened to catch her concentrating on the game. She also seems to think that this game is karaoke. She loves to sing along with the songs. It's actually pretty funny and I need to video tape her doing it. She will be the next contestant on American Idol, so everybody watch out! HA HA.

New Callings

We have finally received our callings in our new ward. Taylor got his calling about a month ago and I got my calling a few weeks ago. Taylor is the ward basketball coach. He is so excited about it. He has had a blast this basketball season! I am the secretary in the Primary presidency. I wasn't to sure about my calling at first, but I actually have quite enjoyed it!

Baby name

We have had many people ask us what names we are thinking about. Well....before I was even pregnant I told Taylor that I liked the name Taygon for a boy or a girl. And of course he hated the name. So after talking about it for a while he decided that he liked the name Tayson instead of Taygon. I really liked the name but I didn't like it for a girl name and so I told him that if we ever get a boy we will name him Tayson. Now that we are having a boy we are gonna name him Tayson.

4-D ultrasound

I had the opportunity to have a 4-D ultrasound and it is so amazing. It is nothing like a regular ultrasound. I couldn't believe how much you could actually see the baby. We tried and tried to get a picture of his face but he kept rolling over or putting his hands on his face. He is the most active baby that I have had yet. Everytime I have an ultrasound they can't believe how much he moves. In every ultrasound that I have gotten they have all had a hard time getting a picture of him holding still. At one point they couldn't even get a correct measurement of him cause he wouldn't hold still. In this picture I think it looks like he is swimming. Plugging his nose and going for a swim.

Once again we tried for a face shot and he moved. His hands were always on his face.

These are his legs and feet. Isn't that amazing?

In this picture we tried for another face shot and he rolled over. But it is still amazing to me to see his little ear and his arm. And no he does not have a mowhawk! He just happened to be moving and it screwed the picture up. He is only 20 weeks and so they still look a little bit like aliens at this stage, but I couldn't believe how much he had developed. The ultrasound said that he weighed about half a pound. So tiny!

My placenta is really low and it blocks my birth canal and so they do quite a few ultrasounds to make sure that it is moving and if it doesn't move I have to have a c-section. Yikes! Anyways....so I have the opportunity to have another 4-D ultrasound in about a month or so and I am so excited to see what he looks like and hopefully I will finally get a face shot of him.

IT'S A BOY!

This picture is for all of you doubters out there (Mitch and Linda, Matt and Ashley, Uncle Craig, you all know who you are). Is this enough proof? Oh and Matt...this time they gave us a 100% chance.

Cereal baby

This is Brynlee's favorite little hiding place and of course it happens to be the only place big enough for the cereal to be stored. She is in this little cupboard at least 5 times a day looking for some yummy cereal. Her favorite cereal is Trix. She also likes Kix cereal, as you can see in the pictures above. She used to just go in the cupboard and grab a handful of cereal, but she has now figured out how to dump the cereal onto the ground. Yay for me!!!
