Funny Kids!!!!

Kamryn loves to play in mom and dad's closet. She goes in and out and sits on our shoes and hides in mommy's clothes.

Brynlee decided to join in on the fun. She loves to be by her big sister. She follows her everywhere and wants to play with her. I think Kamryn is a little sick of her. But they both get along so well and they both love to be by each other. Kamryn always asks bubby if she wants to watch a movie with her. It is so cute. "Come on Bubby, watch a movie". Mmmm....mommy's clothes taste really good. This is Brynlee's favorite toy. Dad's hat. Taylor can't leave it on the floor or anywhere she can reach it, cause as soon as she see's it, she grabs it and puts it in her mouth and smashes it etc.... She would play with it for hours if we would let her.

Every night after Kamryn has a bath, she runs to mom and dad's bed and climbs under the covers and reads a book. That is her new thing that she likes to do. And as soon as she is covered she says "Go na night, na night mamma".

She loves to snuggle with her dad. Both Kamryn and Brynlee are daddy's girls. They both get so excited when he comes home and they smile and want to play. Brynlee has started to recognize him alot more and she loves to see him, and when he walks away she gets so mad and cries until he picks her up. Poor Taylor never gets a minute to himself, cause I want to see him and the girls won't leave him alone.

"I yuv you daddy"!

We had another get together last night and all of us moms were saying how all the little girls have the same haircut. It is all cut into a little bob. They are all so cute and they get along so well. We had to take a picture. In the front is Abby, Kamryn in the middle and Teegan on the end.

As you can tell it is really hard to get all the girls to look up at the same time and smile. But they are still cute!

Kamryn Teegan and Abby playing again. They had so much fun last night and I think that they will always be good friends.

They all climbed up into the crib and jumped themselves until they were tired. Kamryn has never tried to climb into a crib before and when she was watching Teegan and Abby climb in she decided she was gonna give it a whirl. And yes, of course she figured out how to do it.

They are all so full of energy and they didn't want to hold still so it was really hard to get some good pictures.
I know I am posting a ton of pictures of these girls, but they are so cute that I had to show all of you just how cute they were.

And these are my friends. Maureesa (Teegans mom), Me, and Becca (Abby's mom). Maureesa and I have been good friends for a couple of months now. Both our husbands did the summer semester so we hung out a lot since nobody else was gonna be here until August. Becca's husband just started school in August and we just met her and her husband last saturday and we have hung out with her a few times allready. We are having a good time and we have met so many good people and so many of them are in the same situation as us. And the coolest thing is that all of our kids are the same age. It is amazing how it all works out and the Lord knows exactly what we all need. We all needed friends and so did our kids and he always provides a way for us to meet others.

THE SCOOP: I thought that I would tell you a little bit about what is going on. The weather here is just crazy. It has been so chilly here the last few weeks. It has been in the 50's and at night it is in the 40's or even colder. We are so not used to this. St. George is so hot and we just can't believe that Fall actually can happen in September. The leaves have allready started to turn and it is so cold. We are so not prepared for the winter. It is gonna be a big shock for us and we won't know what to do with all the snow. But what I do know is that we are gonna have a blast playing in the snow. I am sure that all you St. Georgers are ready for some cooler weather. It is just beautiful here and I am in heaven. My favorite time of the year is Fall and it is totally here for us and I am loving it.

Kamryn is talking and singing up a storm. She loves to sing "A whole new world", and "Cinderella", and "Little Einstiens". It is hillarious and I will make sure to video tape it and post it to the blog and let you see it for yourselves. She also has a new word. And I laugh everytime I hear it. I have been giving her cereal in the morning for breakfast and so I have been teaching her the name of it. So I tell her "Kamryn this is cereal", and she looks at me and says "C-ARIEL". And of course cereal has to be related to her favorite disney character Ariel. She can't say cereal and I have tried so hard to get her to say it and everytime "C-ARIEL", comes out. It is cute.

Remembering the past!

Brooke this is for you I hope you enjoy the pictures, cause I sure did and it totally brouhgt back memories and made me laugh. For everyone else, these are some pictures of me and my friends in highschool and hairschool.

New friends!

We had a big BBQ with some of the LDS law students on Saturday and we had a blast! The BBQ was at Beau and Mareesa's house (good friends of ours, and we are moving right next to them in December). We had all the kids sit outside on blankets and eat there food together, so that the adults could enjoy themselves and get to know one another. This picture shows a few of the kids who were outside. It is so cool to meet other students who are in the same situation as us and all their kids are the same age as ours. Kamryn loves to meet new kids and she has so much fun with them.

BEST FRIENDS!

Kamryn likes to get herself ready now and this is what she does. She likes all the headbands on her head, not just one, but all of them. She is definately a girly girl! She is so creative! Looks good Kamryn! Not only does she like to get herself ready, but she likes to get her bubby ready as well. I think that Brynlee was more interested in playing with the headbands more than she was interested in having them on her head.

This is what Brynlee looks like when Kamryn is finished with her. Cute huh? Ha ha!

I caught Kamryn playing in the laundry basket, and Brynlee crawled right over to her and wanted to join in on the laundry basket fun! I put Brynlee in the smaller basket and she had a blast!!!!

Brynlee you are beautiful!!! She is the smiliest, happiest, cutest little baby! She brings so much love and happiness into our home.

This is Kamryn's classic smile for the camera. She smiles, crunches her nose, closes her eyes, and turns her head so that the flash doesn't blind her. But at least she always says CHEEEESE!!!!

I know that every parent thinks that their kids are cute. But I have to say that I think we have some dang cute kids! They must get it from their mom! Ha ha

She tries to escape out of everything. The little stinker! She has now figured out how to get out of the swing (with the seatbelt on). She is the busiest little kid and she can't miss out on anything.

Once again, Kamryn's classic camera smile. Nice nostrils Kamryn!!! Good thing she didn't have any boogers in her nose!

They love to play in the crib together! Kamryn jumps on the bed and bounces Brynlee, and they both laugh until their stomachs hurt. It is so cute. I swear we are never gonna get a good picture of Kamryn.

Brynlee can stand up in the crib for a minute, but as soon as Kamryn starts jumping she falls down and just laughs. They truly are Best Friends, and we don't know what we would do without our BOO BOO, and our BUBBY! We love them to pieces and we have so much fun with them. I don't think they would know what to do without each other either.

Hey, Uncle Ham, Jeff, and Dave! This is for you. GO YANKEES!!!

YANKEES ARE NUMBER ONE!!!!!

Taylor is running for SPA class representative (student council) this week, so everyone wish him luck! We know you will do good Taylor and keep up the good work. We are so proud of you!

Pet store fun!

We took Kamryn to the pet store yesterday to look at the cats, dogs, and birdies. And as we were walking around we ran into a turtle. The first thing that Kamryn said was "Dude" like crush the turtle says on Finding Nemo. It worked out just perfect too, becasue we were just looking at Nemo and Dori and here comes a turtle that looked like Crush. Kamryn was so excited to see Nemo, Dori and Crush. It took us a minute to warm up to the turtle but once we did we found out that he was just as curious about us as we were him. He was very friendly and Kamryn sure liked to touch him. They feel kinda weird and they have skin like a snake. It wasn't the prettiest looking animal that I have seen.

The pet store owners let this turtle just roam all over the store. It kinda creeped us out, cause we were walking down the aisles looking at the Nemo and Dori fish and out pops a huge turtle. We almost thought it was fake, but sure enough it wasn't. I had never seen a live turtle up close before so it was cool to see the real colors and the movements. And yes they are slow.

I know this is a pretty graphic picture but we had to show all of you what we had to clean up yesterday. Brynlee was in her jumperoo jumping and she crapped her pants and of course because she was jumping, it pushed all of the poop out and down. It was so funny to see us cleaning her up. We won't go into details but we will just say that everything had to be washed and she had to be put into the tub. This kid craps so much. She craps at least two to three times a day. Needless to say, we have had many poopy clean ups with her.

This is how Brynlee lets us know that she is awake and that she wants out of the swing. She pokes her head to the side and she will stop the swing with her head. She lets her head conk the side of the bar and slowly the swing will stop. It is so funny. She will also sit straight up in the swing and push herself forward and try to escape. She is so tricky and we have to keep our eye on her. She has gotten out a few times (with the buckle on to).

Brynlee is into everything. And especially if it is Kamryn's. We let Kamryn eat her lunch by us on the couch the other day and Brynlee crawled over and grabbed it and was trying to stick it in her mouth. She also loves to crawl around the house and look for Kamryn's left overs that are on the floor. The other day she found some of Kamryn's toast and was munching on that. Now Kamryn likes to break off a little piece of her food and share it with Brynlee. The crappy thing is that I am constantly picking up food off of the floor and she still manages to find stuff. And they are always the tiniest pieces of food that I couldn't have seen.

The dreaded Doctor's Appointment!

Kamryn actually enjoyed herself at the Doctor's office. She sat on the checking table and watched herself in the mirror. They have a mirror right behind the checking table. And it is the smartest idea. The kids just sit and watch themseleves while the Doctor is checking them. Normally Kamryn gets a little nervous to see the Doctor, but not with the mirror in front of her.
Brynlee also quite enjoyed herself. Seriously, that mirror is the best thing to have in a Doctor's office. The girls were so good, and it made the trip so easy.

As you can tell Brynlee really ENJOYED the mirror. Her and Kamryn were so funny and all they wanted to do was watch themselves. The Doctor got a kick out of me taking pictures at their appointment. But I figured that it would give us something to post on the blog for you guys to see. And it was well worth the time. They were so funny! Kamryn was really good while she got her shot. She didn't cry at all. In fact she was so excited to get a hot pink bandaid. I was shocked at how well she did. I know she looks a little stoned, but that is because I caught her right as she was closing her eyes.As you can see, she really likes the bandaid and she couldn't stop touching it!

Brynlee didn't like the shots too much and Kamryn was such a good big sister. She kept reaching out her hands and saying "Don't cry bubby, it's okay". They are so funny together and they truly both love each other. And Kamryn loves to protect her bubby!

Brynlee actually did really well with her shots as well. She cried only when they poked her, and as soon as they were done she relaxed and continued to look at herself in the mirror.They both had sore legs for the day. But in all they did great and it was like they didn't even get shots. Kamryn doesn't have to get shots until she starts kindergarten, and Brynlee unforunately gets shots in November at her 9 month checkup.

Kamryn weighed in at 25.8 lbs. and she is in the 30% for her weight, and her height was 33 3/4 inches and she is in the 50% for her height, and of course her head was in the 80%. Brynlee weighed in at 15.8 lbs. and she is in the 35% for her weight, and her height was 26 1/4 inches and she is in the 60% for her height, and yes of course she was in the 75% for her head. Ha ha, our kids take after their dad and they have big heads. But lucky for them, they are cute! Brynlee has consistently been in the same percentile as Kamryn was at her age.

We have this cat that follows us everywhere and so I finally let her in the house the other day. And boy was Kamryn happy. She followed that cat everywhere and was so excited to have a pet. She was tugging and pulling on the cat, and the cat was so mellow and just sat there. It was a very well behaved cat, and I think it just liked being touched. I am trying to get Taylor to let us have a pet. But so far it hasn't worked.

Brynlee loves to be in the stroller. She sits right on the edge of her seat and just smiles the whole time. I can't get her to sit back or even lay back. She wants to sit up the whole time and look at everything. She enjoys going on walks. And as you can tell, as soon as the stroller stops, Kamryn is out. Brynlee is the happiest, smiliest little baby and she is such a blast to have in our home.

Well Taylor and I both have callings now. Taylor is a ward missionary and the Elders Quorum Missionary Comittee Chairman. And I am the Den Mother for the cub scouts and I have been asked to be on the Enrichment Comittee as well. And as I was getting my calling as the Den Mother, the 2nd counselor said "I don't know why the Lord felt the need for you to be in scouts, since you have two little GIRLS. I think the lord is trying to tell you that something is in store for your little family." I think we were both a little surprised and we took it as he was saying that soon enough we will have us BOY! I don't know, we will have to see.
